King’s Rochester is the 2nd oldest continually operating school in the world. The school is located in the centre of the historic city of Rochester, nestling amidst the tranquil setting of the Cathedral precincts and in the shadow of a castle. King’s is truly a school with a strong historical tradition and a clear vision of education for the 21st Century.

Our focus is on academic attainment and the importance of developing skills and interests beyond the classroom, and we encourage talent of all kinds. Classes at King’s are small enough to ensure the teachers know pupils very well. Pastoral care is second to none as a result and progress is closely monitored, where the needs of the individual are paramount and remain at the centre of the whole of King’s educational philosophy
